Folks this is the bleeding edge, the cutting room. I emailed the developers about a month ago. Quadro allows one to share Palettes! However, I have not tested it yet. I am on cloud nine! I know you are probably wondering so I will say it. I am so in love with this new system that I just wanna tell the world! Ask my friends and they will tell you. but, again I did not like what the resulting interfaces ended up looking like. It was a revelation that this thing already existed. Send your application’s key commands in succession to launch an entire workflow! That app is actually called… Workflow for the IPad. Guess what it does? Yup, it’s a command center for your computer. That friend sold his little app to Apple. That’s when I started to look for IOS developers to make my wonderful new take on the IPad or Apple Touchbar idea! Then, I got a few price quotes from them and that made me LOL and cry at the same time! But, one of those programmers gave me the name of an app that his friend was involved with. Once I have an idea in my mind’s eye I find it hard to unsee it. But, I am a graphics person and to me, the art department fell asleep at the wheel on this one. That to me represented the pinnacle of workflow management for DAW production available today. I tried an IOS app called “Batch Commander” by Steven Slate and I was floored by the idea of using one button to launch multiple commands! I was also loving the whole process of creating my own custom workflows. But I wanted more! I found myself looking for a new level of integration. There is a free app called Midi Touchbar and it turns your touch bar into a channel strip. I mean it is great if you are working in Logic. When I took an overpriced leap of faith and bought a 2017 Touch Bar MacBook Pro I was immediately smitten by the touch bar and it’s Ableton command possibilities! I soon discovered what a limited implementation existed for that. Ableton 10’s new “Collections” feature as seen from Push 2
